Halloween Day Celebration
Halloween (also spelled Hallowe'en) is an annual holiday celebrated on October 31.
It has roots in the Celtic festival of Samhain and the Christian holy day of All Saints’ Day. It is largely a secular celebration, but some have expressed strong feelings about perceived religious overtones.Irish immigrants carried versions of the tradition to North America during Ireland's Great Famine of 1846.
The day is often associated with orange and black, and is strongly associated with symbols like the jack-o'-lantern. Halloween activities include trick-or-treating, wearing costumes and attending costume parties, ghost tours, bonfires, visiting haunted attractions, pranks, reading scary stories, and watching horror films.
The Halloween we celebrate today includes all of these influences, Pomona Day's apples, nuts, and harvest, the Festival of Samhain's black cats, magic, evil spirits and death, and the ghosts, skeletons and skulls from All Saint's Day and All Soul's Day.

Barack Obama gets Nobel Peace Prize; Prize for Barack Obama, Surprise for World
Barack Obama gets Nobel Peace Prize, taking the entire world by surprise! Lots of debate whether he deserves it or not. Lets take a quick look at it.
Why he should get the prize:
* The prize is more for Obama,s promise than for his performance. No one symbolises hope more than Obama!
* He made USA to make some steps forward towards political correctness and pulled the UN from oblivion.
* Obama just lost his bid to bring olimpics to Chicago, so he needs a consolation!
* Because its another slap on the face of Bush!
* He may be fighting a war or two, that's understandable. The award is named after the man who invented dynamite!
* Obama must be the most embarassed man in the world, so he needs your sympathy!
Why he should not get the prize:
* All he does is talking, where's the action!
* He is fighting two war- Iraq and Afganistan and about to send 40000 moe troops to afganistan.
* Nuclear weapon free world- nice to hear but who will to him!
* Stop global warming? may be he is commited but not yet got the couage to tell the Americans to cut emissions.
* It would had been better to give him nobel for literature for 'Audacity of Hope'!!
* Rewarding hope isn't a great idea!
* Farah Khan should have got the prize earlier for making" Om Shanti Om"!!

Mahendra Singh Dhoni Reaches New Height
Mahendra Singh Dhoni named as captain for second successive year, an unique achievement.
The ICC today announced its ODI Team of the Year, as chosen by a specially appointed selection panel chaired by West Indian batting legend Clive Lloyd.
The announcement was made at the LG ICC Awards celebration at the Sandton Convention Centre, Johannesburg. Presented in association with FICA, the ICC Awards recognise the best international players of the past 12 months.
The ICC World ODI Team of the Year is (in batting order):
Virender Sehwag (Ind)
Chris Gayle (WI)
Kevin Pietersen (Eng)
Tillakaratne Dilshan (SL)
Yuvraj Singh (Ind)
Martin Guptill (NZ)
MS Dhoni (Ind, captain, WK)
Andrew Flintoff (Eng)
Nuwan Kulasekara (SL)
Ajantha Mendis (SL)
Umar Gul (Pak)
12th man: Thilan Thushara (SL)
Six countries are represented in the 12-man line-up and just one player - Mahendra Singh Dhoni of India - also appeared in the World ODI Team of the Year in 2008. Dhoni is named as captain of the team for the second year running.
Chairman of the LG ICC Awards selection panel, Clive Lloyd said: "It was a very difficult task in selecting this year's ODI team but looking at the line-up I feel it has great balance and depth. It would be a formidable team."
Lloyd was joined on the panel by former India captain Anil Kumble, former Pakistan all-rounder Mudassar Nazar, former New Zealand skipper Stephen Fleming and ex-England wicketkeeper Bob Taylor. Statistics were available as a guide but were not necessarily the overwhelming factor in the choices made.
The ICC ODI Team of the Year was one of two teams selected by the ICC selection panel along with the Test line-up. There were also eight individual prizes given at this year's LG ICC Awards.
The LG ICC Awards selection panel was charged with two main tasks: providing a long-list of nominations to the 25 members of the voting academy to cast their votes in the individual player award categories and, using their experience, knowledge and appreciation of the game, select the ICC World Test and ODI teams.
Based on the period between 13 August 2008 and 24 August 2009, the LG ICC Awards 2009 - presented in association with FICA - take into account performances by players and officials.
Apart from MSD, who was named the ODI cricketer of the year and chosen the captain of both the Test and ODI team, Gautam Gambhir was named as the ICC Test Cricketer of the year also.
