King Of Pop Michael Jackson Dies by sudden Heart Attack
Michael Jackson, 50, died Thursday in Los Angeles as sensationally as he lived, as famous as a human being can get.
He was a child Motown sensation who grew into a moonwalking megastar, the self-anointed King of Pop who sold 750 million records throughout his career and enjoyed worldwide adoration.
Michael Jackson, who died today at age 50, ruled the music world throughout the 1980s, selling millions of records and concert tickets and dubbing himself the "King of Pop." And while Michael Jackson won multiple times at such popularity contests as the American Music Awards and the MTV Awards, he also earned the respect of his peers in the music industry with his 13 Grammy Awards.
Michael Jackson Grammy Awards Thriller Death News 1357986 After striking out on his own from the Jackson Five, Jackson won his first Grammy in 1980 for best R&B male vocal performance ("Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough"). That track from his chart-topping "Off the Wall" album also contended for best disco recording.
"Thriller" – his second solo effort as an adult – was released in November 1982 and spent a record 37 weeks at No. 1, producing an unparalleled seven Top 10 singles. In March 1983, Jackson debuted his moonwalk dance to "Billie Jean" on the TV special "Motown 25: Yesterday, Today and Forever."
Jackson died at UCLA Medical Center after being stricken at his rented home in Holmby Hills, Calif. Paramedics tried to resuscitate him at his home for nearly three-quarters of an hour, then rushed him to the hospital, where doctors continued to work on him.
"It is believed he suffered cardiac arrest in his home. However, the cause of his death is unknown until results of the autopsy are known," his brother Jermaine said. Police said they were investigating, standard procedure in high-profile cases.

Katrina Kaif in New York, Katrina Kaif- the Leading Bollywood Actress in New York
The latest Yash Raj film New York has created quite a sensation before its release. The film is all set to release on 26th june with John Abraham, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Irrfan Khan in the leading role. Set in the background of New York, the narrative spreads over 9 years. It tells the story of 3 young friends, whose lives take an unexpected turn after 9/11. Centre of attraction is of course Katrina, who created a buzz with her no-make up look in the promos of this film. Her character is a reflection of what she is in real life. Katrina is not seen like this in any other films before, she has just been herself in the film- says Kabir Khan the directer of this film. " I was told look at yourself, the personality you have and the things you go through in real life. She is what I am in real life" she added. We are all waiting eagerly for Katrina and the film!

Mahendra Singh Dhoni- The Fearless, M S D- in the Eye of A Storm
Mahendra Singh Dhoni is the enigma of Indian cricket. Over a period of last three years, he has risen higher and higher like a comet. When he was chosen as the captain of Indian Cricket Team
for the T 20 World Cup in South Africa ahead of seniors like Sehwag, Yubi and Bhazzi, every one was surprised and none had thought that the team had any chance(remember, the team was without the fantastic four as well as Kumble and Zahir. That was just the begining. He then showed the guts to drop Rahul & Saurav from the Indin Team and still defeated the mighty Austrelians in their den for the first time in the history of Indian Cricket. Then he became the highest paid cricketer in IPL-2008. MSD ably led the Chenni Super Kings to final only to lose in the last ball to Rajasthan Royals. But is he running out of luck of late? Firstly, his team has lost in the semifinals of IPL-2009. Then, during the ongoing T 20 world cup, he got involved in some tense verbal duel with the Indian Journalists present in UK to cover the world cup. This won't make him any popularand the media is ready to tear him apart if the team does badly in the tournament. MSD is better be careful!!

Roger Federer- The Tennis Legend, Roger Federer Wins The French Open
At last, Roger Federer has won the French Open'2009. He had won 13 other grand slam titles, but not this one. He had lost it to Rafael Nadal for the last four years, once in the semifinal and three times in the final. But lady luck has favoured him this time, as Nadal has lost to Robin Soderling in the opening rounds. And federer has won the championship beating Soderling in the final. Thereby Federer has come in same category of players who had won all the grand slams in their carrier (great names-Rod Lever, Fred Perri, Don Baz, Roy Emerson & last but not the least Andre Agassi). Moreover, Federer has touched Pete Samprass's carrier record of 14 titles. Though Federer got the luck going in his favour, a truely great player like him sometimes deserves it, isn't it!!

Gunman In Princeton University, Toy Gunman Scares Princeton
Princeton University's Public Safety Department says there's no gunman on the Ivy League campus.
The school's Web site and alert system advised people around 11 a.m. to stay inside following a report of a male with what appeared to be a handgun near Dod Hall dormitory.

An all-clear was issued around 11:25 a.m.
Police continue to investigate.
It was not clear how many students remained on campus because graduation took place on Tuesday.
Princeton went into lockdown for a while this morning because it looked like one of those nut-on-campus-with-gun things was happening. But it turned out to be one of those nut-on-campus-with-toy-gun things instead.
No idea what was up with the toy-gunman -- police have apprehended "four non-student juveniles," one of whom was toy-packing.
Clearly we Northeastern liberals can't do a school gun scare properly. Imagine the bold lads of Columbine and Virginia Tech using toys instead of real guns!

Amitabh Bachchan Refused Doctorate, Protest Against Racial Attack on Indian Student
In a mark of protest against the continuing attacks on Indians in Australia, superstar Amitabh Bachchan refused to accept an honorary doctorate from the Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane, in recognition of his contribution to the world of entertainment. In light of the recent racial attacks on Indian students studying in Australia, he has refused to receive this honourable award.
The doctorate was to be conferred in time to coincide with a retrospective of his films in the city of Queensland in July.
Bachchan wrote in his blog, "I mean no disrespect to the Institution that honors me, but under the present circumstances, where citizens of my own country are subjected to such acts of inhuman horror, my conscience does not permit me to accept this decoration from a country that perpetrates such indignity to my fellow countrymen.”
The most brutal of the recent spate of attacks on Indian students in Australia, was sustained by 25-year-old Shravan Kumar, who is till in a critical condition after being stabbed by a group of Australian teens. Today, another Indian in the country was targetted and sustained 30 per cent burns after a petrol bomb was thrown at him.
